Priscilla Trịnh

Priscilla Trịnh (she/hers) is a third-year undergraduate at the University of Minnesota studying Sustainable Systems Management, particularly Food Systems. Her Borlaug-Ruan International Internship brought her to the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines in 2019 to work with indigenous farmers, and she continues to do hydroponics research at school. Priscilla cares deeply about food sovereignty and does community organizing through Uprooted & Rising, the Food Recovery Network, and The Overstory Alliance in Minneapolis. Her work has been featured in the Minnesota Women’s Press, Girls Right the World, and Jeff Bridges’ documentary promotion, Living in the Future’s Past. She is currently co-coordinator of the Minnesota Youth Institute and recent recipient of The Future We Need award from MANRRS.
